Guitar Repair and Modification
I am a certified Luthier trained from the prestigious Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery (Fall Class of 2011). I repair, restore, modify, and build high-end instruments from scratch. I’ve worked on thousands of instruments to help them play their best. Since founding Guitarley’s in 2011, I’ve enjoyed this work with much success. I often like to describe what I do as ‘optimizing’ a customer’s guitar, so that any issues they have playing is their fault and not the instruments. A dialed setup and perfectly functioning guitar clears an objective pathway for a guitarist to perform and improve.

My physical storefront is located at 611 Oliver Street, in Williamsport, PA. While I’m currently not fulltime in my shop, you can reach out at any time to set up an appointment for luthier services at the shop.
Custom Stringed Instrument Design and Fabrication:
A close second to playing guitar, is my passion for making them from scratch. The careful and patient art of Lutherie brings me pure joy and fulfillment. From the initial design, throughout the wood working process, until the first notes are played, I dedicate myself to crafting the best instruments.
While the idea of having someone make you a custom guitar is dreamy, it is for the most dedicated of players who are searching for the highest possible quality and one of a kind craftsmanship. I only use the finest aged tone woods and boutique after market parts. I cut no corners, and will spare no expense on every instrument I build, unlike larger companies that must honor their share holders and have the best profit margins over quality. I put the player I’m creating for first, and I will never waiver in my principles to build the finest instrument money can buy.
